We are resuming our series "Tacheles Talk Israel". German politicians will discuss all topics relevant to Israel and the Middle East region with a DIG discussion partner. At the same time, the politicians in our DIG series provide interesting insights into their personal relationship with Israel, while we try to shed light on interesting aspects by asking critical questions. The horrific Hamas massacre in Israel on October 7, 2023 and its consequences as well as the debate about it in Germany will of course be the central topic in the new edition of the DIG series.
This time, Philip Krämer will be our guest. The Green politician represents southern Hesse in the German Bundestag, where he is Deputy Chairman of the Sports Committee, a member of the Afghanistan Study Commission and a member of the Defense Committee. In the Defense Committee, he is his group's rapporteur for Israel, among other things.
Philip Krämer has been campaigning against anti-Semitism and hatred of Israel for many years and is committed to German-Israeli friendship. In 2022, he initiated the founding of the DIG Darmstadt working group, of which he is chairman.
At our Tacheles Talk Israel, he will meet our board member and director of the Mideast Freedom Forum Berlin Michael Spaney. Questions and contributions from the audience are welcome during the subsequent discussion.
We look forward to seeing you at the Tacheles Talk Israel.
